The Joint Hong Kong-Japan Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Workshop is aimed at the development of research collaboration between Hong Kong and Japan through exchanging new approaches and challenges in the field of bioinformatics and systems biology among the participants.
Although recent advances in high-throughput measurement technologies have enabled us to measure a wide variety of omics data at genome-wide scale, statistical approaches to unveil complex systems of these large-scale and diverse omics data are still lacking.
For a further understanding of biological processes and improved prevention and treatment of the disease including but not limited to cancer, cultivating an environment for collaborative development and sharing of efficient bioinformatics approaches through international partnership is mandatory.
We look forward to your participation!
